Acupuncture Treatment

A woman's back and shoulders with acupuncture needles inserted.More than three thousand years ago, East Asian practitioners discovered that the body forms disharmonies as a result of the various physical and mental stresses of life. Traditional Chinese medical theory explains these disharmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang. This imbalance disrupts the movement of the body's vital energy (qi) along the meridian pathways, which are channels through which the body's energy is thought to flow, just as blood flows through the body's veins to bring vital oxygen and nutrients to the organs. Acupuncture restores the smooth flow of qi. By inserting and manipulating hair-thin needles at specific points, I can return the body to its natural balance and promote the body's ability to heal itself.

Acupuncture returns the body to its natural state
of balance and harmony.

Is Acupuncture Safe?

Yes! Each year, millions of Americans turn to acupuncture for various health benefits. Practitioners of acupuncture undergo rigorous education in human anatomy, hygiene and needle safety and must provide proof of their education in order to be granted a license to practice. I have successfully completed thorough national board exams conducted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and hold a license to practice in New York State. Adhering to legal mandates, I exclusively utilize pre-sterilized, disposable needles during every session, prioritizing your utmost safety.

It is frequently integrated into rehabilitation programs to optimize recovery and overall well-being.

Remove the stagnation, and you remove the pain." Cupping primarily aims to alleviate tension and eliminate obstructive elements, thereby reinstating the unimpeded circulation of blood and lymphatic fluid throughout the human physique.

Spray Tanning: Spray tanning (or sunless tanning) is a form of tanning in which a fine mist is sprayed onto your body. This mist contains Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), which interacts with your skin's chemistry to turn it tan or bronze.
