Acupuncture Intake Form: Link
Upon Arrival
Upon your initial acupuncture appointment, if not previously submitted, please complete a thorough intake form. This document will gather information about your health status, past ailments, and family medical history. These inquiries are of utmost importance as Traditional Chinese medicine adopts a comprehensive approach, considering all facets of your well-being. While your current symptoms may appear unrelated to past health issues, our bodies are intricate, and every experience leaves an imprint.
Following the review of your intake form, we will discuss your condition, and a pulse and tongue examination, which are fundamental diagnostic methods of TCM, will be conducted. The selection of acupuncture points will be based on your specific condition. Upon inserting the needles, you can comfortably rest for 15-20 minutes with the needles in place. Many individuals find acupuncture treatment profoundly relaxing, and it is common for patients to drift into sleep during this period.
